Decided to pack our dinner last night and head on down to Malibu to enjoy a nice sunset. While there, I had to get some “golden hour” photos of the Subaru since i don’t really take enough pictures of that car. My girlfriend graciously took some photos with her fancy iPhone x so it came out pretty darn good! If only I parked less on a cliff but that’s okay, it’s a Subaru so going off the road is fine. Miata would have definitely gotten stuck in the same spot.
It was excellent to go to the beach around 6pm instead of getting there early and dealing with the traffic and the crowds. Beach was pretty empty, parking was easy, and the weather was a perfect 70-73 degrees. What a relief from the ~90 at home! Definitely will have to make this a regular dinner time thing since it was well worth the 40 minute cruise down some canyon roads.

Did you run up the sand hill after dinner to burn it off, and the rest of the week’s food? That thing is narly!
